Instant Veneers – Composite Veneer
Composite veneers are a great treatment option if you are looking for a safe, quick and affordable way to get a great smile.
As composite veneers are built onto your teeth, there is no need for any preparation or drilling of existing teeth, making them a great option that preserve your natural teeth without damaging any underlying tooth structure. They are created by our expert dentists at our Dublin surgery and are made and finished in a single appointment, meaning that you can walk out with the smile you have always dreamed of.
How do composite veneers work?
Composite veneers are made from a composite resin, which is a material made for dentistry, and is applied onto the teeth and sculpted to repair and restore. We will work to skilfully layer the composite veneers onto your teeth, creating your desired shape and shade.
Using dental bonding techniques, we can cover areas such as gaps or chips.
How much do composite veneers cost?
The costs of your treatment will very much depend on the desired outcomes. For a single tooth veneer costs start at €200
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers work by placing a very thin shell of porcelain over the front of the tooth. They offer a longer lasting alternative to composites and may be more suitable if a large amount of work is needed.
How do porcelain veneers work?
Unlike composite veneers, they are not made at our surgery and are instead created by a skilled lab technician in a top quality laboratory.
Treatment takes a little longer as we are required to prepare the teeth, and take impressions in order to send you veneers to be made, and therefore will take two to three treatments.
We operate to the highest standards and only work with the best laboratories.
How much do porcelain veneers cost?
While treatment cost will depend on the scope of work to be carried out, our porcelain veneers start at €800.00
Can I whiten my teeth if I have a composite veneer?
It is best to undertake teeth whitening treatment prior to having your composite veneer fitted. This is to ensure that we match the colour with your existing teeth.
I have gum disease – can I have porcelain veneers?
Your gums will need to be in a healthy condition prior to starting treatment. However at D4 Dentist we are experts in helping you to get back to full gum health and will help you with this treatment.
